Finally! I guess there is someone who tries to make real original characters!

Entusiasm apart, that's a really nice job! I've already seen the other characters of the Darkened Realm, but this one looks the best!

The design of the helmet is particular and I like it! The combination of armor and gentleman vest looks awesome and catches the eye immediately!
The sword is abit "animeish" but is ok, I would prefer something better thought.

Please tell me more about the character itself! Or give me something I could read more about him! Something about his role, his behaviour, or his tempter! Looks really really interesting as a whole!

It's adorable and very interesting how she could be turned into a great character!
If you are going to do something like this again, try describing the character in the description. It would be really cool!

It doesn't matter if looks silly, just try.
By the way, make sure that the "cat" doesn't start a fight with Lucy.

It might not be your intention, but you created I nicely looking character tho!
Or it's just me who loves both Halloween and Easter themes, I dunno.

Also, love the cel shaded color of it! Except the background... but who cares tho, I hate making backgrounds myself.

Simple, but that doesn't stop me from saying: job well done.

They all look really nice! But I'll judge them only by the design.

I slightly prefer the first, the fifth and the last one, because they are very particular, and nicely tought for the fifth one.

The first one is just something I've never seen before.

The second is ok, but the circular finger look abit of a forced design. The tail is great.

The third is good too, but nothing special.

The fourth one doesn't give a clear message or meaning. I'd really like to hear the insipiration or the meaning!

The fifth one has a simple design, but well tought!

The sixth one is the same as the fourth. It looks like a shark but... I don't know, it's hard to guess what's special.

The seventh one I think its the worst. Of course, not that negatively but still. It kinda remind me of the Little Mermaid's villain. Could have been something cool by the way, like making her look like a whale or something.

The last one is great! It's weird, misterious and nothing like a humanoid creature.
This thing shouts "I'm not anything you've already seen before". It really catches the meaning of the mythical creature of the mermaid.

In the end, you have made a great job! Character design is fun as hell, and seeing your soft style applicated to YOUR characters, it's just heartwarming.

Keep going on making these! I don't care if they are ugly or not special enough, thats the beauty of immagination!

I really appreciate the fact that you care so much about the age ratings, but this is not mature trust me. Mature is in a way higher level than this harmless artwork. ;)
I would maybe change it to teen.

Really soft pixel-art!

The colors are light and sweet, just like jam (and her)!
Just one thing tho, she doesn't look that stable. She looks like sitting in the air.

I suggest you to make her closer to the borders of the jar, or if you want to keep this pose, make her more flexed to the left, like she is hanging on the spoon!

By the way, really nice work! Not your best, but a nice one! :D

Thank you! I really don't know how I can change it to teen, because on the submission form we just choose the degree of "things" that appear (such as, nudity: some, or lots; violence: some or lots, etc). Selecting "some nudity" makes it mature be default, haha.
Next time I'll let it run wildly.

By the way, the only thing I don't like is the gap between the teeth. There is literally nothing in there.

Oh yeah this might be your style of drawing, and hands down I'm the last one that want people to change their style, but I'd appreciate atleast a darker color at the left side of the gap.
Making it look more of a mouth than a pair of scissors. :0

In the end, it's really cool! Keep drawing like this amount of immagination, it damn works! :D

Thanks! I totally agree with your critique. At the time it was a stylistic choice to give the silhouette a more "Rocko's Modern Life" 2D feel where the perspective is screwed, but in retrospect, I agree that I should have covered the gap (especially where the armored collar should be).
